Clifford Jordan's treasured recordings from his final years, recorded from the late '80s to 1990 at the home and studio of Pierre Spray, founder and engineer of Maple Shade Records, are now available on vinyl for the first time in the world!
This rare jam session records the great jazz legend performing a very relaxed performance, including improvisation, with close musicians such as Julian Priester and Larry Willis!
The album features a selection of slow blues and ballads, including Gershwin's "Embraceable You" (M1), Mal Waldron's "Soul Eyes" (M5), and the original song "Jug's Groove" (M4), dedicated to the legendary Chicago saxophonist Gene Ammons.
