An ambitious work that attempted simple and straightforward rock during the heyday of punk.
The sixth album released in 1977. Contains 11 songs including "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions", familiar songs from sporting venues such as MLB and NBA.
This album sold more in the US than in the UK. The cover was done by American sci-fi artist Frank Kelly Freas. Roger Taylor, a sci-fi fan, liked the original painting so much that he asked him to repaint it for the cover. This work was created in the extremely short time of just two months.
