This is the 20th film in the series, featuring a diverse cast of guest stars.
This album, which includes a duet with Cliff Richard and reached number 24 in the UK charts, is a symbol of their mid-1980s activities.
The tight pulse of electronic instruments intersects with Elton John's distinctive piano melodies. On "Slow Rivers," featuring Cliff Richard, the duo's restrained vocals overlap against a backdrop of strings arranged by James Newton Howard. "Angeline," featuring Queen's Roger Taylor and John Deacon as rhythm section, is supported by a thick bass and powerful drumming. Collaborations with outside composers, such as "Don't Trust That Woman," co-written with Cher, also shine.
