A concentrated album of the 1960s Stones, the foundation of rock and roll.
A compilation released by the Rolling Stones in their golden age, edited exclusively for Japan. A collection of early recordings with a dazzling unfinished aesthetic.
"Rolling Stones Golden Album" is a compilation album released only in Japan in 1966, and its selection of songs includes hits and covers from the British DECCA era. It includes the garage-like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," the blues-infused "Little Red Rooster," and the aggressive "The Last Time," and is full of the "earthiness" and "rebelliousness" that are the origins of the Stones. Although the sound source has not been remastered, this makes it a valuable document that vividly conveys the atmosphere of 1960s rock.
