An experimental, genre-defying album dedicated to the animated work by Ryu Murakami.
Although it is the soundtrack for an animated film, it is of such high quality that it stands up to being listened to as a standalone piece of music. A variety of elements, including jazz, fusion, and electronic music, are combined to create a futuristic yet organic soundscape. While each track is closely related to the visuals, it is also compelling enough to listen to on its own, making this an ambitious work that breaks new ground in anime music.
