"Graduation Photo" is a cover version of the famous song by Yumi Arai (later known as Yumi Matsutoya) by Hi-Fi Set in 1975. Their characteristic transparent three-part chorus and simple, soft arrangement blend perfectly together, further highlighting the sadness and nostalgia of the original song. Memories of parting with loved ones and youth surrendering to the flow of time evoke the "graduation" of each listener. A timeless song that beautifully crystallizes the sophisticated sound and lyrics of the early days of J-POP.
