This album is inspired by the thoughts of three musicians, Yoshio Mamiya, Masahiko Sato, and Kazuo Yoshikawa, on "war" and the story of the protagonists, a young brother and sister duo, Seita and Setsuko. It also includes a 12-page liner note (including sheet music, a roundtable discussion between Director Takahata and the three composers, etc.).
This valuable vinyl record has been newly remastered and includes a complete reproduction of the jacket, obi, and luxurious liner notes that include commentary, roundtable discussion, sheet music, and script (excerpts).
