This was their first major album, released in 1989 by (then) BMG Victor, and featured numerous guests, including international artists such as John Zorn and Hamza El Din.
Some of the recording and mixing was done in Paris, with Godwin Roggie (Aswad, King Sunny Ade, etc.) as the mixing engineer. Musically, the album is colorful and gorgeous, incorporating elements of calypso, hip hop, and folk, but there is also a hint of the band's later downfall.
