The album was remastered and cut at Abbey Road Studios in London using high-resolution audio from the original master tapes, by Abbey Road's renowned engineer, Alex Wharton.
Truly "the best take of the best concert!" (From the original album obi). This live album features the 1980-81 live tour "POWER PLAY '80 & '81." It's a record that explodes with Takanaka's unique charm, including "MEDLEY," which features a lineup of Takanaka's classics such as "BELEZA PULA," "Tokyo Reggie," "TAJ MAHAL," and "MAMBO NO.5 (DISCO DANGO)," as well as tracks from the classic album "Rainbow Legend THE RAINBOW GOBLINS," and "TROPIC BIRDS" from his first album, "SEYCHELLES." Participating musicians: Hirokuni Korekata (guitar), Kiyosumi Ishikawa (keyboards), Mimi Kobayashi (keyboards), Akihiro Tanaka (bass), Masahiro Miyazaki (drums), Yuki Sugawara (latin percussion), and Makoto Kimura (latin percussion).
