This memorable first album, released in 1976, was born from an encounter with Nation: African Liberation Arts Ensemble, whom Madhubuti met at the university where he taught, and fully reflects Madhubuti's high aesthetic sense!
Of particular note is the masterpiece "Walk the Way of the New World," which combines a mellow electric piano melody with a light flute and a graceful female scat track, all of which combine to create a beautiful, inner beauty with Madhubuti's heroic poetry.
