The first full album by DOGADOGA, a new band led by Ikuya Enuma, is now available on vinyl!
These 12 gems claim to be post-punk but also incorporate a variety of other elements such as jazz, Latin, and dub in a lively mix.
The band was formed at the Yatsui Festival in June last year by Enuma Ikuya (Vo,Gt ex.plenty), who had been supporting 20thCentury (Tonysen), along with Fujiwara Hiroshi (Bass ex.andymori), Furuichi Kenta (Drums), and Watanabe Kyoichi (reeds). The groove, which was polished through a tour of Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka with YO-KING & KI and a solo live performance, drags listeners into a frenzy on the dance floor. The band has already received high praise and attention from many big artists, including the four singles released in advance.
