The same melody depicts different forms of love.
This double A-side single features "Yume no Uta," a song about separation based on the same melody, and "Futari de...", a song about happy love.
"Yume no Uta," which begins with a quiet piano melody, is a poignant ballad that carefully depicts the emotions of parting. In contrast, "Futari de..." uses the same melody as its core, but depicts the future of love with a gentle, happy arrangement. Written by Koda Kumi and composed by miwa furuse, the song is impressive for its structure that weaves different stories from the same melody. The single reached number 1 on the Oricon weekly chart and number 25 on the annual chart, and won the Japan Cable Television Awards Grand Prize and the Japan Record Awards Best Vocal Performance Award.
