This is the original soundtrack album for "April Fish," a film directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi and starring Yukihiro Takahashi (released in 1986, co-starring Kanoko Kyo, Tetsuro Tamba, Miyoko Akaza, and others). Takahashi himself produced and composed all the songs.
The unique mood of this work, which is also peppered with homages to old Western movies, has a charm comparable to that of the original album. This is an important work that is indispensable when talking about Yukihiro Takahashi!
Reissued on analog LP, remastered by Sunahara Yoshinori and cut by Bernie Grundman.
