The live album "Proof of Legend - Rock Montreal 1981", which meticulously records the moment when Queen was at the height of their popularity, will be released in Japan as a 3-LP set imported for domestic use, with 2,000 sets limited to Japan!

The simultaneously released video product "Proof of the Legend - Rock Montreal 1981 + Live Aid 1985" has been digitally restored using the latest technology and includes the previously unreleased songs "Flash" and "The Hero."

A meticulous record of Queen's heyday, when their 1980 album The Game hit No. 1 in the UK and US charts and they literally conquered the world, Legendary - Rock Montreal 1981 captures two consecutive concerts held at the 18,000 capacity Forum in Montreal, Canada on November 24th and 25th, 1981. The concerts were filmed for a feature-length Queen concert film, and director Saul Swimmer shot the footage using then-state-of-the-art double anamorphic lenses and 35mm film, allowing it to be shown on a giant screen the equivalent of five stories high. Based on the original film, the footage of "Rock Montreal" was digitally restored for IMAX using the latest technology and released in January this year in IMAX theaters around the world, including the UK and the US. As the largest IMAX exclusive screening in history, it recorded an astounding worldwide box office revenue of 4.1 million US dollars (about 600 million yen) in four days, and the extension of the screening period was announced, causing a great response. This IMAX version was also released in Japan in February this year at 50 IMAX theaters nationwide for a limited time and became a huge hit. With the packaging of the digitally restored footage, it has been decided to release a 3-LP set of imported domestic specifications, limited to 2,000 sets in Japan! The set list of all 28 songs included in this album shows the breadth and sharpness of Queen's songwriting ability. It features classic songs from the '70s ("Killer Queen," "Now I'm Here," "We Will Rock You," "We Are the Champions," and "Bohemian Rhapsody"), as well as newer hits from the time ("Another One Bites the Dust," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Play the Game," and "Save Me"), as well as fan-favorites and album tracks ("Live From the Heart," "Dragon Attacks," "I'm in Love with My Car," and "Sheer Heart Attack"), making it a masterpiece live album that meticulously records the moment when Queen was at the height of their popularity, when they literally conquered the world.
