"Only Get Better" reached number 5 on the US charts. "I Can't Stop Worrying" (with Phil Collins) reached number 1 on the Adult Contemporary charts. He was chosen as the best keyboard player in 1986 by Rolling Stone magazine. He gained popularity in the UK and the US, and participated in Live Aid.
