Bob Dylan's first tour in eight years took place from January 3rd to February 14th, 1974, with 40 shows in 21 cities across North America. The tour, which set records at the time in terms of attendance and box office revenue, was later released as Dylan's first live album, "The Great Return," and became a huge hit, reaching No. 3 on the US charts. This time, the album does not include the performance by The Band alone that was included in the 1974 release, but instead features Bob Dylan's performance alone, and is released as a limited edition with the Japanese import specifications and a Japanese version booklet with commentary, lyrics, and translations. This is a valuable record of 1974, when Bob Dylan, who was 32 at the time, put on an exciting performance backed by his allies The Band!
