A dream collaboration between bassist magician Stanley Clarke and keyboard genius George Duke. A crossover masterpiece with a brilliant balance of technique and melody.
"Clarke / Duke Project" is the first project by Stanley Clarke and George Duke, who were at the forefront of the fusion world in the 70s and 80s, and it became a hot topic for its high level of perfection. Based on electric jazz, this work fuses funk, R&B, and pop, and can be said to be the ideal form of 80s crossover fusion.
