This self-titled album by California band Fools Gold features a pleasant mix of light AOR and country rock.

"Fools Gold" was released in 1976. Its sound was in the vein of West Coast acts like the Eagles and America, with refreshing harmonies and relaxed rhythms. While it wasn't a hit, it's known as a hidden gem of '70s AOR. Later, the band members supported Dan Fogelberg and others, further confirming their talent.
