This is the first in a series of individual CDs from the limited edition box set "YMO 1979 TRANS ATLANTIC TOUR LIVE ANTHOLOGY," which captures the full scope of YMO's 1979 overseas tour. Both the CD and LP will be released simultaneously.
Under the supervision of Haruomi Hosono, world-renowned engineer GOH HOTODA mixed and mastered the multi-track master, and Shinya Matsushita of Piccolo Audio Works cut the disc.
YMO's first overseas performance was as a special guest at the Tubes' three-day concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, USA, on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 1979. "YMO LIVE AT THE GREEK THEATRE 08/04/1979" contains all seven songs performed on the final day, August 4th.
