The band's first number one album on the Billboard charts.
Released in 1979, this was the band's sixth album. It was the band's first album to top the Billboard album charts for four consecutive weeks, including the lead single "The Logical Song" and the title track "Breakfast in America," which was re-cut as a single.
This album reached number three in the UK and was a huge hit around the world. It also won Grammy Awards for Best Cover and Best Engineering in 1980, making it the band's signature work.
