This work further develops the style established in the previous work.
The third album released in 1971. It contains 12 songs in total, including "It's Going to Take Some Time", a cover of the Carpenters song, "Some Kind of Wonderful", a self-cover of the song he wrote for The Drifters, and "Sweet Seasons".
Like its predecessor, Tapestry, this album was produced by Lou Adler. When it was released in the US, it quickly sold 1.3 million copies. The previous album also made it into the top 10 at the same time.
