Since being "rediscovered" in 1959, Lightnin' has made numerous recordings, and the first of his three albums released by the prestigious Jewell Records in Shreveport, Louisiana is being reissued on LP!

Recorded in Texas in 1965, this album captures Lightnin's dirty blues aesthetic and is highly regarded as a masterpiece, with Elmore Nixon on piano and a band consisting of bass and drums.
