The Pointer Sisters reinterpret the Black musical tradition.
This is a representative early work that explores the roots of jazz, blues, and R&B. The sisters' outstanding harmony work allows them to freely sing songs in a variety of styles. This work laid the foundation for their later commercial success, and fully demonstrates the richness of their musical backgrounds.
