From QASB's sixth album "Will", the city soul song "Kono Machi de" with lyrics by Shuya Okino is released as a single. Side A includes an edit by the lyricist himself! The song starts with a distinctive intro refrain that focuses on the undulating bass, and the development that leaves a lingering impression in the vocals that follow is excellent.

In 2025, QASB celebrates 20 years since the band was formed, and their first album is now available on LP for the first time! "The Mexican" (produced by RYUHEI THE MAN) QASB's first album was released on CD only in 2009, during the late Deep Funk movement.
This is the origin of QASB, filled with soul/funk music from the passionate performances of the original members, including the original vocalist Amy-A (at the time). Most of the songs were composed by Rob.T, who is currently working as the sound producer for Hannah Warm.

Three years after their previous album "Candy Dream," the band releases their sixth album, "Will."
The album features nine QASB tracks that span a wide range from soul/funk tunes to city pop, including two tracks, "Kono Machi De" and "Night Flight," in which Okino Shuya, leader of KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE and KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET, and active not only as a DJ/composer/music selector but also as a writer and sound brander, demonstrates his versatility as a lyricist; the JB-funk track "The Jet Leg," featuring the king of Japanese funk, Osaka Monorail's Ryo Nakata, which has already been released on a 7-inch and received rave reviews; and a cover of mellow dancer's "I'm In Love," also known for its vocals by Nancy Wilson and for being sampled in Erykah Badu's "Honey." The album is finally complete after five years in the making!
