This is Ryuichi Sakamoto's seventh solo album, which was produced in collaboration with Bill Laswell and is his first worldwide release, and features top musicians from different genres, including Sly Dunbar, Bootsy Collins, and Tony Williams. While based on electronic sounds, it also fuses organic and ethnic musical elements such as Okinawan and Balinese traditional music, and was recorded between Tokyo and New York. It is a milestone work in his solo career, which has been released in over 20 countries around the world.
