A covers album that was not originally planned for release.
Released in 1980, this was the first in a series that continued afterwards. It is an album of doo-wop covers, a favorite of Tatsuro Yamashita.
Thanks to the huge success of "RIDE ON TIME," the long-awaited desire to "just do doo-wop" exploded, and some songs are arranged in a way that is close to the original with Tatsuro Yamashita's interpretation, while others are arranged in a way that is far removed from the original. In the second song, "CLOSE YOUR EYES," Yoshida Minako is in charge of the dialogue part. In the third song, "SPANISH HARLEM," the original version has a string interlude, but this one is arranged using a keyboard harmonica.
