Blondie's sixth album, which emerged as a New York punk band and later became highly regarded as a new wave band.
Despite being a dynamic album that returned to the rock style of the band when it was first formed, the first Blondie disbanded without their planned visit to Japan being realized due to Deborah's guitar partner Chris falling ill. This was the last album released just before that.
This album includes the single "Island of Lost Souls" from a pop-inspired band. This is a work from the period when Blondie moved from their early pop image to a grander concept.
