Following in the footsteps of their second album, "The Wind Carries Scents Of Flowers," the band will release a new Christmas single, "Winter Letters," which contains four original songs, limited to 200 copies, on Record Day!
The lovely lyrics, ephemeral vocals, and gentle melody will add color and comfort to your Christmas this year. The artwork was created by Fumika Arasawa, and the mastering was done by Seiki Sato (microstar), further enhancing the beauty of the song.
"Blue Mint Christmas," created with Hokkaido neo-acoustic artist alvysinger (Koushi Ono), also features guest appearances by Tsuyoshi Shimoda, former guitarist for Johnny Dee, 101 Dalmatians, and Thee Windless Gates! This light-hearted track features striking, fresh arpeggios, and Koushi Ono's exquisite neo-acoustic arrangement shines through. Shinshu indie pop unit Tintin Rudolph, featuring Shino Kobayashi, released "Reindeer Night." The track was written, composed, and performed by Hisashi Kuno, who also hosts FM Matsumoto's music program "Hickory Sound Excursion." The track features adorable twin vocals with Fumika Arasawa, who also created the artwork. The owner of the long-established, conscientious indie label Chocolate & Lemonade also participated, thanks to their connection to Nagano. This track, which has previously aired on the program, is now available for the first time! Track 3, "Stollen in the Afternoon," was composed by The Bookmarcs, the Sweet Onions, and solo artist Kentaro Kondo, who also worked on the backing track and arrangement with Masahito Oikawa. The song's beautiful soft rock feel, with the sound of bells ringing out to create a seasonal feeling, and crisp ornamental sounds lending it a colorful, illuminated feel. Track 4, "Wheat and Rice," is a mellow waltz number with all of its backing tracks handled by Masahito Oikawa (producer of Kentaro Kondo, Ricarope, and others). The ending features the adorable sound of a dog barking.
