The second release from Boot Camp Click, released in 1995 during the Golden Era, is truly a monumental achievement! Smith & Wesson's "Dah Shinin'" is released on vinyl for the first time in the world on a double picture vinyl set!
This first album is a definitive 90s masterpiece, featuring Evil Dee and Mr. Walt of the Beatminers, who are also Black Moon DJs, as well as Baby Paul and Rich Black!
As the Roy Ayers-inspired artwork suggests, the album continues to focus on the floating sound of jazz and funk samples, while the gritty, deeper Beatminers bass permeates the sound, sharp and low, smoky and mellow! Starting with debut singles "Bucktown" and "Let's Git It On," the album features a string of smoky classics like "Wrekonize" and "Sound Bwoy Bureill." The album includes all 16 tracks from the original CD, plus two bonus tracks, including the previously unreleased track "Headz Ain't Redee" featuring Black Moon, O.GC, and Helter Skelter = Bootcamp. This 18-track set is available on vinyl for the first time on a double picture vinyl set!
