An experimental masterpiece that stands between avant-garde and pop

This is an early masterpiece by a band known as a heretic in the Japanese rock scene, and stands out for its unique sound construction and poetic sensibility.

The guitar, keyboard, and rhythm section blend together in perfect balance, creating a natural sound with pop melodies and rhythmic developments. The dynamism of "Akai no Tsubasa" and the lightness of "Muscat Coconut Banana Melon" leave a particularly lasting impression. Each song is meticulously arranged, with skillful interplay between instruments, creating a sound that goes a step beyond simple vocal rock. Recorded in Japan between late 1976 and early 1977, this ambitious work, including its hollow sound, shows one direction Japanese rock was heading in the 1970s.
