FOUR-UM's only album, which captivated jazz and rare groove listeners with its peaceful vocals and chic swinging band sound, is now available as the latest and world's first LP reissue!
The recording is full of realism, as if you were listening to their live performance at a local club, featuring a female vocalist and a band consisting of organ, guitar and drums, playing hits and popular songs of the time!
The only album (recorded in 1972) by FOUR-UM, a group of musicians based in Buffalo, NY. They update Burt Bacharach's "What The World Needs Now" (M1) to a high-speed swing jazz and floor-ready version, and perform Aretha Franklin's "Day Dreaming" (M3) with stylish jazzy vocals. This is a must-have for fans of dynamic vocal jazz such as Vince Andrews and Raphael Chicorel. Soft rock fans will also enjoy the cover of The Spiral Starecase's free soul classic "More Today Than Yesterday" (M6). This is the first reissue of the LP in the world!
