An innovative collaboration between hip hop and orchestra
A groundbreaking work co-produced with film composer Jon Brion.
Kanye West's second album, released in 2005, attracted attention for its unusual collaboration with Jon Brion, who composed the film score for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." The chemistry between the two was instantaneous, with the basic track for "Gold Digger" being completed in their first session. This monumental work greatly expanded the concept of the rap album by fusing orchestral arrangements with hip-hop beats.
