This is the first greatest hits album released after the band announced their disbandment.
Their first best album was released in 1978. It contains a total of 11 songs, including the two singles "Virginia Plain" and "Pyjamarama."
The songs selected are from their original albums: two from their second album "For Your Pleasure," three from their third album "Stranded," three from their fourth album "Country Life," and one from their fifth album "Siren." However, for some reason, no songs from their first album "Roxy Music" have been selected, making this a best-of album.
