"Twist of Fate," released in 1983, was a single produced to coincide with the movie "Two of a Kind" (starring John Travolta), and is a song that symbolizes the disco/synthpop period of Olivia's career. Produced by David Foster and composed by Steve Kipner, Olivia's clear vocals sing of the thrill of fateful love, surrounded by sharp, bouncy drum machines and glittering synths.
