A timeless, other-dimensional musical experience
Produced by Snakeman Show, this work combines exotic sounds with humor.
Produced by Snakeman Show, this album features the exotic sounds of Melon and the Watermelon Group. Renowned musicians such as Toshio Nakanishi, Chika Sato, and Yan Tomita participated, and the music incorporates elements of electro new wave and acid house. Yan Tomita's steel pan and vibraphone playing are particularly striking on tracks like "Jungle Flower" and "Tune from Rangoon." This work, which combines humor and experimentation, brought a breath of fresh air to the Japanese music scene.
