This is a shocking debut work that won four major Grammy Awards.

His first album, released in 1979. The original title bears his own name, but the Japanese title is "Minami Kara Kita Otoko (The Man from the South)." The album contains nine songs that are still loved today, including "Ride Like the Wind," "Say You'll Be Mine," and "Sailing."

At the time of her debut, she made it a rule not to perform live and not to reveal her real face. Her angelic high-pitched voice captivated the world, and she quickly became a representative artist of AOR. Although she never reached number one on the Billboard charts, she has sold over 5 million copies in the US.
