The Band's last live album
A record of the band's final live performance, featuring a stellar lineup of musicians from the American rock scene.
The reason for this live performance was that Robbie Robertson, the leader and guitarist, wanted to end his long touring career and focus on recording, but this caused conflict with the other members, and Robertson did not participate in the later reunion. Many musicians who performed at the last live concert included Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Ron Wood, and Neil Diamond.
