The first solo album by the Icelandic genius Björk, an explosion of genre-crossing innovation and pure sensibility.
"Debut" is Björk's first solo album, released after the breakup of the Sugarcubes. The sound, which seamlessly interweaves multiple musical elements such as trip hop, jazz, house, and ambient, was ahead of the trend of electronica in the early 1990s.
