1979's "Rock Diamond" was a work in which Lazy, who enjoyed idol-like popularity at the time, showed a harder musical direction. Considering that members Akira Takasaki and Munetaka Higuchi would later become active in the global metal scene, this work can be seen as an important one that marked the beginning of that band.
