"Untold Passion" is a collaboration album released in 1981 by Neal Schon, known as the guitarist of Journey, and Jan Hammer, a master of synths, known for his work with the Mahavishnu Orchestra and Jeff Beck. As the title suggests, the album is based on the theme of ineffable "passion," and features a dense intertwining of melodic guitar and synthesizers. The ensemble, which is technically skilled yet emotional, quietly but surely shakes the hearts of listeners.
