Wilson Phillips' harmonies have become even deeper on this second album. Glen Ballard's production creates a crystal-clear sound, harmonizing catchiness and lyricism. "You Won't See Me Cry" delicately conveys an introspective message, while "Flesh and Blood" highlights the intricacy of the vocal work. This highly polished album is representative of early '90s American pop.
