The name "Raideen" comes from "Raiden," part of the name of a sumo wrestler in the Edo period, and is imbued with the desire to spread throughout the world like ukiyo-e.
This song is more exciting than the restrained "Technopolis," and the band members said they had fun making it. "Cosmic Surfing" on the B-side is a live take from the album "Public Pressure."
