To commemorate the 50th anniversary of AIDO's debut on May 1, 1975, the song "Summer for Two/Love on the Seibu Shinjuku Line" will be released!
The paper jacket features a reproduction of an original illustration by Kawamura Yosuke from when the single "Futari no Natsu" was released.
AIDO...Formed in Hiroshima in 1972 by Machida Kanji (guitar), Takahashi Nobuhiko (bass), Yamazaki Takao (keyboards), Hamada Shogo (drums, vocals) and Aoyama Toru (guitar). After serving as Yoshida Takuro's backing band, they debuted in 1975 with the single "Futari no Natsu" and the album "Aido". Okamoto Atsuo joined the band in July of the same year, and Hamada left in September. From then on, Hamada became active as a solo artist. AIDO broke up after the release of their second album, "Love in City", in 1976. Machida went on to pursue a solo career. Aoyama participated in sessions with Yoshida Takuro, Takeuchi Mariya, Harada Shinji, and others.
