This album is highly regarded as a masterpiece of Hawaiian AOR, especially popular among contemporary Hawaiian music, which has developed a unique scene by fusing the island feeling unique to the island nation with new sounds flowing in from the US mainland. This is the only album by BABADU, an SSW produced by Kirk Thompson, an original member of KALAPANA and producer of "LEMURIA," which is said to be the pinnacle of Hawaiian AOR. The mellow and soulful vocals of BABADU resonate comfortably against the perfect production by the talented Hawaiian musicians who also participated in LEMURIA, creating a superb sound! Starting with the killer tune "All I've Got To Give" (B4), which was also included in "LEMURIA" and has been covered by many DJs and artists on their playlists, the album also includes the mellow soul "We're Not To Blame" (A1), which draws you in with its light flute intro, and a cover of the folky classic "Words To A Song" (A2), released under the solo name of Billy Kaui of COUNTRY COMPFORT, a representative contemporary Hawaiian artist, arranged into an urban soul version.
