This is the only album by Sounds of the City Experience, a multi-racial band from the Bronx, New York, released in 1976 on the tax-saving label Tiger Lily.
The two instrumental funk tracks, A1 with its blaxploitation soundtrack vibe and A5 with its cool, floating vibe, are simply amazing! The vocal tracks, including the mellow-medium A4, are also worth listening to. This is a masterpiece of mid-70s soul/funk, overflowing with positive vibes and a free-spirited mood!
