The heartbreaking 90s Italo Grandbeat classic "Let Me Try Again" is being reissued in the world's first 7" single format! The B-side includes the bouncy and exciting Italo New Jack Swing classic "Day By Day." The Italian dance unit Jackie Moore, active since the 1990s, have reissued two classic 12" singles released in 1991 as a coupling album. Both tracks are cover versions of Korean hits from that time, with English lyrics and ground beats. The clever selection of songs, featuring Won Mi-yeon's 1990 hit "Farewell Journey" and Kim Wan-sung's "Pierrot Smiles at Us," and the cool sound production involving the members of Novecento, shine through. The former, "A1. Let Me Try Again (Just One More Time) [Djoke's Radio Edit]," is a masterpiece that sticks in your head at first listen with its bittersweet, sad, and dramatic melody. The latter, "Day By Day (Day By Day) [Djoke's Radio Edit]," is a floor-pleasing take on the Korean New Jack Swing classic, featuring a powerful synth hook. Both sides shine with their own strong personalities. This reissue includes a new edit originally released for the 7" single, delivering a more updated sound and a remastered version of the original master source! |
