This is the first major release from guitar-toting migratory bird Shion Yukawa. It features 10 tracks, including "Green Arch" (written by Takashi Nagatsumi of Hanaregumi), "The Emperor's New Clothes" (written by Shigeru Kishida of Quruli), and "Light the Candle" (produced by James Iha of the Smashing Pumpkins).
The album was produced by Soichiro Suzuki of World Standard, who has worked with Hanaregumi, and mixed by ZAK, who has worked with Fishmans and Buffalo Daughter.
The album is packed with warm songs that make the most of her beautiful soprano voice. As a young girl, she sang the soprano part in the Tokyo Boys and Girls Choir, before shifting to the pop field. Her voice is ephemeral and beautiful, but its thorny nature emerges in many places. The sound, simply woven with traditional instruments, is truly reminiscent of the world of British folk.
