Produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, it reached no. 15 in the UK and no. 3 on the US dance charts.
The track is driven by Bernard Edwards' driving bass line and Nile Rodgers' precise guitar cutting. On the A-side, "My Forbidden Lover," elegant layered strings and the crystal clear vocals of Alfa Anderson and others create an urban, sophisticated disco sound. The album reached number 15 in the UK charts in October 1979 and was a huge hit with dance floor fans.
