When Bob Marley & The Wailers went on a US tour in 1973 right after releasing their first international album, "Catch a Fire," they ended up upsetting the main act, Sly & The Family Stone, and were left out of the tour. After that, the young Jamaican lions performed a legendary live show at the Matrix in San Francisco instead. With the strongest lineup of Bob Marley (vo/g), Peter Tosh (vo/g), Joe Higgs (per), Earl Lind (keyboard/d), Familyman Barrett (b), and Carlton Barrett (d), they hit the reggae, or rather rock spirit that became the Trench Town Experience. Songs such as "Star It Up," which was full of sweet rocksteady mood, transformed into fierce rock and burned. This is the first LP release after more than a decade since the first release, and it's a miraculous reissue!
