This album was released just before the end of the only US tour that John Lennon also toured.
This is Harrison's fifth album on his self-founded Dark Horse label. The album features Harrison's hoarse voice, which suggests he was in poor health after a busy schedule.
The album includes songs that were performed on his US tour, such as "Hari's On Tour (Express)," "Maya Love," and "Dark Horse," as well as the Everly Brothers' "Bye Bye Love," which may have coincided with his divorce from his wife Patti.
